Employment Counseling, Litigation, and Trials
We counsel and represent employees pre-litigation, including severance negotiations and dispute resolution. When litigation is necessary, we aggressively represent employees in courts throughout California.
We represent employees who have been retaliated against based on protected activity such as a complaint about illegal activity in the workplace, or other inappropriate conduct by the employer (such employees are sometimes referred to as "whistleblowers").
We represent employees who have been victims of harassment in the workplace, including based on sex and other protected characteristics. This includes employees subjected to a hostile work environment.
Meal Periods, Rest Breaks, Overtime
We represent employees whose rights under the California Labor Code or federal law have been violated, including those entitled to meal periods, rest breaks, overtime pay and unpaid wages.
We represent employees who have been discriminated against on the basis of a protected characteristic, including: age, ancestry, color, religion, disability, family/medical leave request, gender, gender expression, gender identity, marital status, medical condition, genetic information, military/veteran status, national origin, pregnancy, race, sex, and sexual orientation.
We represent employees who have been wrongfully terminated or who have suffered another adverse employment action on the basis of a protected characteristic or protected activity. We also represent employees in actions for breach of employment contract.
