About Us

Marc A. Holmquist, Esq.
Marc Holmquist is a litigator who has focused his career on employment litigation and counseling. Before establishing Holmquist Law, PC, he was a Partner in the Employment Litigation group of Gordon & Rees, a large national law firm, where he represented business clients in all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. His experience there included counseling on hiring practices, terminations (including separation agreements), discipline, reductions in force, workplace investigations, drafting and revising industry-specific employee handbooks and other written policies, contracts, wage and hour compliance, sexual harassment training, and litigation avoidance practices. His litigation practice there included claims for wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment based on protected characteristics (such as disability, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, race, and national origin), whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, fraud, defamation, and other torts.
Since establishing Holmquist Law, PC in 2016, Mr. Holmquist has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for plaintiff employees who have been wronged in the workplace. He aims to level the playing field for California employees. Mr. Holmquist handles civil litigation, trials, mediations, and arbitrations on behalf of employees.
