Marc Holmquist is a litigator who has focused his career on employment litigation and counseling. Before establishing Holmquist Law, PC, he was a Partner in the Employment Litigation group of Gordon & Rees, a large national law firm, where he represented business clients in all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. His experience there included counseling on hiring practices, terminations (including separation agreements), discipline, reductions in force, workplace investigations, drafting and revising industry-specific employee handbooks and other written policies, contracts, wage and hour compliance, sexual harassment training, and litigation avoidance practices. He has also litigated matters involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, defamation, and other torts.
